Open Enrollment Training for ISIToolBox and ISIWriter is designed to not only teach how these innovative software tools work, but also to help students to discover how these tools can work to improve and support their company’s business processes and submission goals. Classes are divided into full sessions that explore what the tool can do and mini sessions that target the practical application of these tools.
Instructors leading these classes have years of experience on ISIWriter and ISIToolBox and have the knowledge of how submission documentation is created and managed. Courses start at $99 and cover a variety of topics that include:
- Authoring submission-ready documents
- Creating custom templates, generating TOCs, and inserting tables and captions
- Preparing case report forms for submission
- Using ISIToolBox to create a NeeS submission
- And much more …
How it Works
Convenience is the key for this Open Enrollment Training program, as classes are offered in both online and classroom settings. Classroom sessions are held at the company’s Whippany, New Jersey office, and two web sessions are scheduled for each class to accommodate students in different time zones. “Open Enrollment” means that students have the opportunity to mix with their peers and gain perspectives from a wider pool of industry experience.
Full sessions focus on the features of ISIWriter and ISIToolBox and how they work, while targeted mini sessions explore how these tools can be used to perform important tasks such as how to create and QC bookmarks and hyperlinks and working with document information fields.
Task targeted mini sessions are just $99 and include practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises. Full 4-hour sessions are $249.

ISIWriter
Session 1: Authoring Documents with ISIWriter
This session provides students with the basic knowledge to author regulatory documents using ISIWriter (including hyperlinking content and creating tables of contents). Also included is an overview of the practical application of templates and styles. Topics will be covered using demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
Session 2: Converting Documents to ISIWriter Documents and Troubleshooting
The process of converting non-ISIWriter documents into ISIWriter documents will be demonstrated and practiced in this session. Students will learn how to effectively utilize ISIWriter caption, page orientation, repair, and resetting tools to create a uniform document that complies with regulatory guidance. Creating custom content templates also will be covered. In addition, students will learn how to customized style filters to align with existing corporate styles.

Session 1: ISIToolBox Part 1: Document Navigation
This course provides details on how bookmark, hyperlink, and eSubmission tools can be used to create electronic submission-ready documents. Students also will learn how to audit, QC, and import and export bookmarks and hyperlinks.
Session 2: ISIToolBox Part 2: Document Processing
This course takes a look at how PDF image enhancement, PDF information management, and other specialized document processing tools can be used to augment the process of regulatory submission preparation of electronic documents.
