ISIWriter 101: ISIWriter Basic Training

Course Description
This four-hour course introduces users to the primary tools and functions in ISIWriter used to author documents. In this course, students will learn how to author using a content template, format text, and work with tables, figures, landscape sections, cross references, citations, and lists.

Who Should Attend
This class is designed for anyone using ISIWriter to author documents, create templates, and administer the ISIWriter system. This is a foundational class required for advanced ISIWriter courses.

Prerequisites

  • The basic operation and function of Microsoft Windows and Adobe Acrobat
  • Use of a mouse, standard menus and commands
  • Knowledge of guidance related to document authoring
  • Knowledge of eCTD granularity a plus, but not required

Course Length
Four hours.

Certification
Specialist Certification may be added to this course for an additional $99 per student. Trainees enrolled in the additional certification program will receive one weeks’ access to the ISIWriter e-Learning course and be given three attempts at passing the certification exam. Upon passing the exam, students will receive ISI Specialist Certification in ISIWriter.
