ISI Promotes Paul Chung to Chief Operating Officer
Promotions of Paul Chung to COO and Adam Sherlock to Vice President of
Sales & Marketing Signal Stronger Focus on Customer Relationships,
Growth and Business Development Initiatives
Whippany, NJ- May 4, 2010 - ISI, a leading provider of regulatory software and services to the life sciences industry, today announced the promotion of Paul Chung to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Chung’s expanded responsibilities will include all aspects of the company’s R&D, Quality Management, and Global Services’ delivery functions as well as the company’s wholly owned offshore operation in Tianjin, China.
An industry veteran and one of the company’s original founding employees, Chung previously served as executive vice president of global professional services at ISI. Since joining the company, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of software development and services for electronic submissions and other regulatory solutions. Chung is recognized as a pioneer in the development of electronic submissions software using optical-disk-based imaging systems.

As ISI globalizes its own operations to keep pace with industry’s transformation and to ensure alignment with client needs, Adam Sherlock takes the helm of the company’s sales and marketing function as Vice President. Formerly Managing Director and Vice President of the company’s European operations, Sherlock will spearhead the company’s aggressive growth plans to drive overall revenue and support senior sales leadership across the business.
Sherlock joined the company in 2007, founded the company’s UK Ltd subsidiary, and in 2008 was promoted to European Managing Director. His extensive career before his appointment at ISI comprised more than 20 years in the pharmaceutical and IT industries, providing solutions to life science companies.
