- Eric brings deep IT experience from across and beyond the pharma industry to ISI Europe’s software implementation business
Eschborn, Germany (March 9th, 2009) Image Solutions Inc. (ISI), a leading provider of software and services to streamline and more effectively manage the regulatory approval process in the life sciences industry, today welcomed Eric Sheehan as its Director of Software Operations, Europe.
Eric, who joined the company on February 9th, will have responsibility for ISI Europe’s software-related professional services which comprise implementation, installation, configuration, validation, project management and support. Eric will manage and drive European software operations reporting directly to Adam Sherlock, ISI Europe’s Managing Director.
Eric brings deep skills and experience to the position, underpinned by a 15-year career in IT in a variety of vertical industries. During this period Eric spent five years at Liquent (Thomson Reuters) where he served in the capacity of Senior Technical Consultant in the United Kingdom and Manager of Corporate Quality in the United States.
“We are delighted with Eric’s appointment,” said Adam Sherlock. “Based on his considerable experience and our need to plan for future growth, his primary responsibility is to assess our current software capabilities (project management, implementation, validation, support), our internal IT infrastructure and requirements and also our quality systems and processes, so that we can effectively plan for the expansion of the business.”
Eric Sheehan graduated with a BSc in Computer Science from Anglia Polytechnic University, Cambridge, then an MA in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Seton Hall University, New Jersey, in the US. In addition to his five years at Liquent, he spent two years at AXA PPP Healthcare, managing desktop development and support. Most recently, he spent five years as a senior IT auditor at SunGard in the US and UK, advising customers on their security, business continuity and risk planning. He is married and lives in Kent, close to London in the UK.
