Regulatory and Safety Paper Documents into Documentum™

A top 10 pharmaceutical client needed to scan all previously submitted regulatory documents and safety documents into Documentum™. We scanned and coded all required document attributes (29 fields) for 1.5 million pages within 3 months.

We first tried to use software the customer had previously used, but because the completion date was limited to 3 months, we found that it was impossible to complete the project using the existing software.

At the time, we used our own CRFScan™ and ISIFile™ for this project. Even though CRFScan™ was designed primarily for Case Report Form management, it was sufficiently robust enough to handle this project. We successfully completed the project on time by using ISI products, otherwise the project would have taken at least three to five times longer. The client was very grateful for our efforts which enabled them to close a facility on time and transition to their new facility with little or no disruption. Faced with similar projects today, DocComposer® is used whenever the need arises for hi-speed scanning, indexing and Documentum upload capabilities.
